SavingsMatic

SavingsMatic is a tool that you download on your web browser as an add-on that aggregates all savings codes, coupons, and free gifts that are available before you make your online purchase.

Imagine kayak.com for shopping but take it a step further. No more need to Google "xyz company coupon code" before you make your final purchase. Many online shoppers have the store site open in one browser and in another tab or window, they search for a coupon code that works for their purchase. Instead, SavingsMatic alerts the shopper upon arriving to an e-commerce site using a non-obtrusive overlay to display the day's best promotions. The pop-up also appears on the checkout page and can analyze what is in the shopper's cart in order to provide the best promotion based on their purchase. The shopper can then copy the promotion code and paste it when they are ready to checkout in the "coupon code" section during the final purchase.

These coupon and savings codes would all be proven, up to date promotions. The deals could be percentage or dollar discounts, free shipping and rebates, or even free merchandise and gifts on products such as cosmetics and accessories.

The SavingsMatic system finds these offers from sites such as retailmenot.com, savings.com, and the many others out there.

This benefits both the consumer and the business since the consumer is saving time and money while having the confidence that they are getting the best deal with their purchase. Businesses benefit because having a coupon code available motivates the customer to make that purchase instead of waiting and leaving the site hopefully to come back later when they think they've found the best deal. This helps with e-commerce site's conversion rates since it convinces people to act. Both the consumer and business win.
